Salvador Dalí – Virgo, from the Zodiac Series – 104/250 – Hand-Signed in Pencil

Description

A graceful graphic work by Salvador Dalí representing Virgo, one of the twelve signs of the Zodiac. The composition presents a calm and poetic scene centred on a swan gliding across still water, accompanied by a delicate female figure standing behind it beneath drooping branches. Rendered with Dalí’s refined linear style and a restrained palette of pale blue and soft beige tones, the image combines classical elegance with the artist’s unmistakable surreal sensibility. The mirrored reflection in the water enhances the balance and harmony of the composition, reinforcing the contemplative and symbolic nature of the work. This example belongs to the limited edition of 250, individually numbered 104/250 and hand-signed by Salvador Dalí in pencil in the lower margin. The composition also bears the inscription “Dalí 1979” within the image. A refined and highly decorative interpretation of the Virgo zodiac sign, and an appealing work for collectors of Dalí, modern graphic art and Surrealism.
