Salvador Dalí – Aquarius, from the Zodiac Series – 104/250 – Hand-Signed in Pencil

Description

A refined graphic work by Salvador Dalí representing Aquarius, one of the twelve signs of the Zodiac. The composition presents a stylised coastal landscape animated by sweeping waves and flowing water, evoking the traditional symbolism of Aquarius as the sign associated with water, movement and renewal. Rendered in Dalí’s elegant linear style, the image combines a restrained palette of pale blue, soft beige and light grey tones with a serene, dreamlike atmosphere. The rhythmic treatment of the sea and the simplified rocky background create a balanced and poetic composition, fully in keeping with Dalí’s imaginative interpretation of astrological themes. This example belongs to the limited edition of 250, individually numbered 104/250 and hand-signed by Salvador Dalí in pencil in the lower margin. The composition also bears the inscription “Dalí 1978” within the image. A graceful and highly decorative interpretation of the Aquarius zodiac sign, especially appealing to collectors of Dalí, modern graphic art and Surrealism.
