A historically interesting lot of three antique pistols dating from the 18th century, combining different forms, materials and mechanical configurations. The group includes a double-barrel iron pistol with a carved walnut stock and brass mounts, fitted with double triggers and later converted to percussion, dating to around 1760; a walnut and steel pistol of Liège manufacture, dating to the late 18th century; and a miniature walnut pistol bearing the inscription “1720–1730”, with a replaced trigger. Together, the three pieces illustrate the variety of European pistol production and later modifications encountered in surviving arms from the period. The pistols measure approximately 17 to 36 cm in length and display age-related wear, patination, oxidation and surface marks consistent with their age and use. They are offered as antique historical and decorative collector’s objects, and no guarantee is made regarding their mechanical or firing condition.
